When we call (or write) into a car dealership, these “leads” are funneled via the Business Development Center. It is the “heartbeat of the dealership.”
Center employees redirect our contact information to available salespeople – those that are “up“. These are essentially telemarketing operations. They are staffed by people who dish out phone calls and field emails from potential customers.
BDC employees are trained to pass the more important calls to Sales and General Managers for better pricing. I train my clients to fill out the dealership’s “contact us” form to skip salespeople and zoom right to the more important managers of the dealership.
