An acquisition fee (a.k.a. a bank fee) is a fee that is charged by the lease lending bank.
Acquisition fees vary from bank to bank, but they usually range from $400 to $795. It is often much higher for leases drawn in the state of New York.
The car acquisition fee is a “hidden” charge. It is usually hidden in the fine print of advertisements of most lease deals.
I regularly help my clients get this fee eliminated using my fill-in-the-blank email templates.
