I have a tough one for you. Any tips or advice for finding a lease on a 2017 Ford Raptor? I’ve been told by my local dealer that they will not lease a Raptor currently and they are asking for a markup over MSRP.
Not tough at all, really.
We just need a little time (see why below)…
With my leasing system, you always get $0 cash down leases (when they announce their leasing plans)…
So right off the bat, you are going to keep at least $10,000 in cold cash. Because on the Ford F-150 Raptor, dealers are asking for over $10,000 down.
The dealership will deliver the vehicle to our home, office – even a Starbucks. So we never step foot in the dealership. Heck, we never even see our salesperson.
Since so many suckers are falling for the hype, it drove the prices above the MSRP sticker prices…
In fact, just 2 months ago in May, prices were $25,000 to $35,000 over the MSRP sticker price.
(PT Barnum is laughing in his grave right now.)
Yet this month… just 60 days later, I see some Ford dealerships are leasing them at the MSRP sticker price.
If this plunging of the price continues, it should be a reasonable vehicle lease starting next month or so.
If you can wait a bit, you will save hundreds of dollars on your monthly lease payment – again, with $0 cash down.
In fact, I can see it hitting the golden 1% rule by the end of this year.
When the lease option shows up on dealership websites, it is time to make the move.
